The Museum of Architecture Stockholm

The story behind

The publication Architecture in Sweden was intended for the young visitors to the museum and represented the permanent collection. It had to be easy to send in the mail and cheap enough to be given away. We wanted to make a playful attractive cover that invited to interaction.

The cover has a pop-out piece that could be folded into a house with the same proportions as the logo of the museum. This also opened a peep-hole in the cover into the picture of the exhibition presented inside. The proportions and size of the book were exactly 1:10 of the display tables in the exhibition.
