Founded in Stockholm in 2010, Fotografiska opened its third outpost 2019 in a treasured, six-floor historic landmark building in NYC’s Flatiron District. Fotografiska is a place for an unexpected mix of world-class photography and art. We are responsible for the branding throughout the building, working closely with the team at Fotografiska New York and the designated architects and interior design firm CetraRuddy. We based the branding on the visual identity we created for Fotografiska Stockholm, keeping it bold and expressive. We have continuous collaboration with Fotografiska New York creating exhibition graphics and overseeing that the brand conveys the spirit of Fotografiska.
In 2020 CetraRuddy won the annual Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award by the New York Landmarks Conservancy for the conservation of Fotografiska New York.
