One of our clients, Alessandro Ripellino Architects, took part in a competition concerning a large building complex, »Trollhättan« in Stockholm. Our commission was to create an idea with sustainability in mind for the facade.
The building resides the commercial centre but is still close to parks and water. Inspired by the shapes and patterns from the archipelago nearby, we designed a custom made pattern for the facade reminiscent of islands or tree rings. The motto for the project became »Cambium« as a metaphor for growth. The suggestion was never realised but was shortlisted and highly appreciated by the jury.
